I know the professional fund raising business in and out, and have ran several offices myself. The actual charities that the company raise funds determine the percentage breakdown of the money, not the solicitors. The donations DO GO to the charities, and then the charities cut the fundraisers a check for the labor. The company really only profits a small percent after overhead. For example, if United Way wanted professional solicitors to raise money for them, they would tell the company how much is expected for them and how much is for the company. NO CHARITY in the world uses 100% of the money for the cause, unless you personally went to a homeless veteran on the street and gave him/her money. A charity is just a business like anything else...
Yes, they DO go to the charities IF the party is legitimate. Dytel.com IS NOT. Why else would they always "spoof" the caller ID with a non working phone number? Why don't they have a website? Why is every number that comes up for them disconnected? THEY'RE SCAM ARTISTS and so are you for defending them. Try getting a real job instead of scamming people.
I get many phone calls per day from numbers associated with Dytel and also those that are blocked from Caller ID reading "Unknown Number" of "Not Available." These callers are asking for money for a variety of charitable organizations. I give generously to many charities but do not appreciate the continual phone calls from morning until night. I've asked these callers to stop calling me, but they have ignored my requests. Nothing works with these guys - rudeness, anger, reason - they just keep calling. If there's any way to stop them I will be very appreciative and grateful.
