I'm pretty positive its a scam. Stated calling from Hsv Fire Dept (Kevin I think...) Asking you to join the Booster club for money to go to Children's Burn Unit. When I declined they really try to pull on your Heart Strings saying that Children usually get the worse because they hide under beds or in closets & you can't find them. (if a fireman is trained to know that's where they hide then why not check there 1st) I'm not giving my personal banking info out over the phone for anyone scam or not. They have also called multiple times from 2567130261.. Any time I've tried to call either number back, it give me a busy signal.
Jake, why do you pick up at all when you don't recognize the number?! If they have legitimate business with you they will leave a message. By picking up you just tell them they have a good number. Then they sell it to all the other scammers and telemarketers.
