They called me, didn't leave a message, wanted me to verify my phone number when I called them back to see if they did indeed call me. Wouldn't tell me who they are with since I wouldn't verify any info with them, said that someone probably gave me their number. They kept asking if I was so other persons name after me calling them a few time. I figured if I wasted time on the phone with them then it would be one less person they can scam out of verifying if the person they are call is or isn't who they are wanting/
Asked for a first name of the person they wanted to speak to. When I asked who they were and what company they were representing, they insisted that they needed me to verify the last 4 of the social security number. I refused and kept insisting they tell me the company. They kept refusing saying it was a "personal matter they needed to discuss". They hung up on me when I told them it was illegal not to identify themselves and insist on getting someones social over the phone. Also, the person they wanted to speak to is deceased.
