"Michael Hamman" was the caller ID. I had heard about calls from people who try and trick you into giving them access to your computer by telling you that they were representing Microsoft and that they needed to repair a problem. The man spoke with an accent from India. I heard lots of talking in the background and assumed he was calling from a telemarketing environment, possibly to scam me, so, I hung up.
just got a call from them all was silent and then an automated voice said GOOD BYE so i looked the number up and you all are on here so yes its a scam and these ppl should be arrested and tortured by forcing them to call the same number every day and hear thier own voice spewing out the lies over and over again for about thirty years
Caller claimed to be from Microsoft and wanted me to let them log into my computer. I told them that they had called before and I was aware of their scam. Caller them called me a retard and told me that it wasn't a scam.
Called twice yesterday and once today. Caller ID said it was from Ft. Wayne, Indiana. My answering machine picked it up and I could hear foreign voice chatter in the background. Likely a scam...
