Who called from 2606235273

4/29/15  14:39 PDT  Only 8th call today.  I don't know anyone in Indiana and without a recognizable ID, will not answer.

Took several minutes for message to register on voice mail.  Recording claims to be GE Home Security offering system because of an increase in criminal activity in area.  It's been a while since I've had one of these calls, but I'm pretty sure that GE would identify themselves right off the bat, not by city and state.

You're right, of course.  Caller ID says Merchant Svc, which means nothing.  They start talking as soon as the answering machine picks up, so you only hear what they say after the outgoing message has played.  They said something about putting a sign in your yard, but I have no idea what it's for.  Also if you want no more calls, select 2.  Kind of hard for an answering machine to respond.  But i'm kind of sure they'd keep calling anyway.

they just called here too - caller id just reads "Out of Area"

first time from this number - blocked now - so last time too.

they didn't want to talk real bad - the answering machine is set to answer on the 5th ring - it never did.

Lots of these "callers" give up after 4 rings which is why I set mine to answer on 5

Scammers -- left a recorded message identifying them as "GE Security" and wanting to install an  "On Star" home security system. I'm sure both GE and GM would love to  know how they're appropriating their product names. Reported and blocked.
