They called. The man I spoke to had a very strong Indian (from India) accent, with a lot of static in the line. Said this call was about my computer. I told him never to call here again and hung up on him. I have read on this site about a lot of scam calls pertaining to our computers. He identified himself as being with Vendor Services.
I received the same phone call at my work yesterday and he said he was from Windows Service Center and they were receiving error messages from my computer so could I get on my computer and help him fix it. I asked for his name and number and he gave me a different number then the one he gave me was not the one he was calling from. I told him I would have my IT call him back and he said if you think your IT guy can fix this you are crazy. He asked why I asked for his number if I had an IT guy so I told him my IT guy would call him back and they could fix it together. He yelled at me and said f**k you. You are crazy!
