SCAMMER
I received a robocall from this number. Message: Card Services. We are calling because you are eligible to lower the interest rate on your credit card. Press 1 to speak with someone or 2 to not receive this call again.
I pressed 1. I felt this was a bogus call to get you to give your personal information ---- I wanted to speak with someone to ask them questions about it.
THEN THIS...
A man with an Indian accent answered and asked if I wanted to receive a lower interest rate on my Visa card. I asked him what card he was referring to. He said "Your Visa Card". I asked him what company he was and he said he was with Visa & Master Card for companies like...and then he rattled off some Company names: Bank of America, Chase, Citi Bank. I asked him if he represented all those companies. He said yes. I knew that was wrong, because if those companies would contact you directly if you had an account with them. Then he asked me again, "Do you want to lower the interest on your Visa?" I asked him "WHICH VISA CARD?"
**CLICK** He hung up on me.
