Received a text at 10:23pm saying "Your entry last month has WON! Go to bestbuygc.net and enter code 8228 to claim your $1000 Best Buy Gift Card! You have 24hrs."

Received text that I won $1000 gift card from Best Buy & to go to bestbuygc.net & enter 8228 to claim it.

I also received a text from this number stating the exact same thing and telling me to go to the website and enter 8228. Problem:  I do NOT give out this phone number it came in on. Not to anyone. It is a private line for family only!

Your entry last month has WON- came from my area code, so I almost believed it.

got the same tex msg.  best buy knows nothing and was sorry about it.
how do they even get your phone number?  scary out there.
