This number came up on my cell phone two days in a row, but when I would answer, I would always get disconnected. When I called back the number after the second phone call because it was a "local" number, they asked me for a "case" number. I replied "you called me" and they hung up on me. I called back again, and again they asked for a "case" number. When I told the individual I was trying to figure out what they wanted because they keep calling me, she said "Ok, let me see if I can figure out what is going on here." I then asked "what company are you with" and she said Burns and Stevens LLP and then after 5 seconds she hung up.
They called me at work stating that I was under investigation and they had my last four of my social and that they have been hired to proceed in matter regarding taking out a loan and that I was in default. I told them yes take me to court and hung up on her. the name of the lady that called me was Ms. Burns
