An auto-dialed number - it called twice this morning before a man picked up on the other end. He wanted to "confirm your business and phone number for your free listing in the yellow pages". I declined to give him any information, inquiring instead after each of his questions as to their name and phone number. He eventually identified the calling organization as Security Direct Yellow Pages and said he was located in Florida but said "we are not allowed to give out our phone number". I countered his further requests for information, "Why is your Caller ID number listed for a farm in Wisconsin?" He eventually said he didn't know. I told him it sounded to me like he was running some sort of scam and that I was going to report him to the National Do Not Call registry; he hung up.
