I recieved a call from 414-431-5170 and was passed around. I got them to send me an email with "documentation". I had a payday loan with this company several years ago and paid it off. I tried to pull up the website and it did not work. The documentation shows an 888-853-3610 for Goldberg Maxwell, LLC. I called that number and it was a recording, when I got someone on the line they asked for the orginator id. They stated that the author, Faith Galloway, and who sent the email Rebecca Allen do not take incoming calls. The documentation shows to contact Bren Lesley at 262-432-9200. I am worried this is a scam and do not know what to do. I did check the BBB website and it showed that there have been several compliants in the last few months.
Same lady calls me but with different reason, states I owe a payday loan company call BMG from 2-3 years ago. No written information only phone calls, finally sent an email but it looks like anyone could type up this email. I did take out a payday loan but with a different company that was paid in full. Sounds like a SCAM to me. How to deal with this situation?
I too am receiving harassing phone calls from the company regarding a payday loan that I have no knowledge of. They are claiming to be taking me to court. It is a scam! When you ask them for proof, they cannot provide any.
They too are doing the same thing to me calling me all times of the day. I took out a pay day loan a long time ago and paid it off and she says they are taking me to court. Its a SCAM. When I tell her this she gets really mad at me. I dont know how to get her to stop calling me. I am tired of it.
