Attempted scam to purchase services

Texted regarding catering job, paid deposit and asked that I send 2nd invoice to pay for his DJ, total scam, kind of an idiot.

They paid you a deposit?

I got a text message asking about a catering job, asking if I take credit cards. Large order for out of area number. I googled it and found this, plus it's a WI # and I live in NY.  From their text they sound English.
