Not paying close attention, I inadvertently answered a call from "private name/private number". A man with heavy Indian accent ask for my husband by his first name. When I responded that he was unavailable, he proceeded to tell me that our computer is trying to connect with their computer. He ask if I was at the computer and wanted to tell me what to enter to "fix" the problem. I told him my computer has an excellent security program and if anything was wrong, I would call HP for customer service. He gave me number 262-872-0430, Mars Technologies, for call back info. Internet shows that number is located in Wisconsin and Mars Tech has a different number.
Obviously this is a scam.
His accent is very hard to understand, but beware! He's smooth and persistent.
What I don't understand is how he connected my husband's name with our phone number which is in my name and only listed with my initials and maiden name...?
