Another sales pitch for health insurance from another number. Same message - different number.
Very annoying - I'm on Do Not Call list and still keep getting these calls.
I just got one too. I get MANY telemarketing calls on my cell phone. I don't think the government does anything about them. I'm on the National Do Not Call List too, Also, it's illegal to to make telemarketing calls to cell phones even if you're not on the list, and it's illegal to make automated telemarketing calls to any phone, period. So, these people are violating three laws and nobody is doing anything. I get an average of three automated telemarketing calls a day.
I changed numbers about 6 months ago to try to get rid of them and the new number is worse than the previous one.
Same thing. They call at least once or more each week with a pre-recorded insurance message. I sent a note to the FCC, so maybe I can get them off my radar. VERY annoying.
262-995-9008 Called me today from Wisconsin. Automated robot calling, I stayed on the line to talk to a person, and got a jerk instead. I asked for his name, and he insisted that I tell him my name first. Then he asked why he should give me his name and I said I like to know who I am talking to. He started arguing again so I said, "You are an idiot" and hung up. Usually I ask for the name and they give it, then I say, "X, you are breaking the law and I'm going to report you." Then I fill out the online report at donotcall.gov.
O, the last thing I do is save the phone number as GARBAGE and a number. If there is no way to get the government to stop these people, we can at least defend ourselves.
