They call several times a day claiming to be from a trade publication that doesn't exist. They are asking to verify company information. The local area code threw me at first, but when you hear that telltale delay after answering, then the background telemarketing noise, and a caller that identifies themselves as "Jack, calling on behalf of" with a thick accent....yeah. You're a spam call. Go. Away.
Jasmine from Industrial Water World. At least I think that is what she said between her accent and the background noise of the call center where she obviously was. Sounds like yet another one of those crappy trade magazines (that we get at least a dozen calls a day from various titles about) that nobody asks for, wants or has any use for. Didn't want to hear anything else Jasmine had to say.

5 calls today from this #, they've called several times in the past week. No one there most of the time. Caller who I could barely understand said she wanted to update info for a free trade mag subscription. I hung up, they keep calling.
This is another one of those call centers "updating information for free subscriptions" to garbage publications that nobody asked for, nobody wants and does little else other than to kill trees and occupy landfills. They are full of nothing but advertising. I am certain that these call centers are already working off of sales leads and their "updating information" serves only to create more sales leads so, they are selling advertising and selling sales leads. Previously they had called us about Industrial Water World. Today it was Plant Services. This is put out by BPA Worldwide/Putnam Media who also sends us landfill fodder such as Automation World, Chief Executive, Food Processing, Maintenance Technology, Specialty Food Magazine and the aforementioned Plant Services.
DO NOT GIVE THEM INFORMATION, lest you wish to receive numerous copies of identical useless titles and an ever expanding list of other useless titles and exponentially increasing numbers of calls to update your information for free c r a p.
