They call but I never pick up my phone unless I know who it is and want to talk to them...which means that I almost NEVER pick up my phone. No message left on my message machine.. Caller ID says "outreachcom. I am angry at AT&T because they are supposed to block unidentified callers but if my caller ID says "Unavailable" it lets the call come to me. I consider "unavailable" as unidentified...if I could block "Unavailable" I would get rid of many of the phone calls that I refuse to answer. However, by simply refusing to pick up the phone unless it's a friend/relative that I want to talk too...the number of robo and scam calls I have received has greatly diminished after a couple of months passed. And most of the calls that I wouldn't answer seem to call when I am not at home now. Personally, I think it should be legal to hunt scam callers and robo-callers down like the rabid dogs they are. When it's legal to do so let me know...I need some target practice. Until then, I'll just have to practice on fake paper scam and robo callers...and fake paper politicians who call me to tell me to vote for them. I did find that I got fewer calls after I found out the if you vote and don't have the voting department remove your phone number from their records they give out your phone number to who ever wants it. So call the voting department where you sign up to vote and tell them to delete your phone number from their records...then they can't give it out to others and you will get less calls. And vote for the politician who is willing to pass a law that says that the voting department can't give out your info and phone companies have to include the ability for people who have telephone accounts with their company to block any and all phone numbers with no limits on the number of calls that they can block...and that no one can put an "unavailable" caller ID call come through to you if you hit the pound key to put it on your blocked list. BY the way you stupid "unavailable" people...if you are unavailable, so am I!
