They are supposedly an organization that raises money for breast cancer research/awareness. I asked her to please provide me w/ their website so that I can further look into their organization to which she responded that she wouldn't be taking money over the phone that she just needed my address so that she can send me a package I could use to place a donation. I explained to her that I do not provide any of my personal information, including mailing address, to incoming calls and that I didn't have any problem w/ giving a donation to them as long they provide me w/ a website were I can research their organization. I told her "any reputable organization should have their own website"... she hung up.
Do not fall for this! It is a scam of the worst soulless kind. They are using a terrible illness as a means to profit.
I got a call from this number 267-225-9040 at 6:21pm, I never pick up a number that I don't know. And if some one that know me they would leave a message, but there no message. Thank you Anonymous for the info, now I know it a scam I'm going to figure out how to block this number from my cell phone.
Someone called from this number but did not speak when we answered. The caller ID just says Philadelphia, PA and our daughter is there now visiting, which is the only reason we picked up the phone, thinking she was calling from some else's phone and had a problem. No one spoke when we answered, which is pretty ignorant.
