Got the same Text message yesterday, but no problem dialing the number. I tried 3 times from my home phone & said the number is NO Good, that I had dialed incorrectly.....OH Well.
I just received a text message on my cell phone informing me that my Wells Fargo debit card has been temporarily blocked. The message was from "[email protected]."
DO NOT CALL!!!!
It is a scam!!
They will ask you for your social security number, debit card number, account number, pin number & all kinds of other identity steeling info. It is very obvious if you do call but PLEASE do not give them any of your info!!
I just got the exact same message and have never banked with Wells Fargo.....total scam. I hope everyone will report them before some elderly person gets scamed.
