Called three times in succession. On third call spoke too fast to be understood clearly. Said something about a gas rebated check. The gave another phone number. Probably another scam Phone is a landline located in Montgomery Co PA outside Philadelphia.
This is American Power and Gas who is running a scam where they call and say they are the electric company and need to speak to the owner about their Met Ed bill, then when you get on the phone, they tell you that you are due for a rebate check. DON'T DO IT. Really what they are doing is getting you to change your gas and electric supplier by giving you a rebate on your bill, but their rates skyrocket once they get you signed up. Total Scam Artists who dishonestly try to pretend they are your original electric co. calling to give you a rebate. Won't stop calling even when asked not to. Once I told them it was a dishonest call and hung up on them, then they called back from many different numbers continuously for 20 minutes. Google them.
This "sales rep." was the biggest jacka$$ I have ever spoken to on one of these calls. Told him no thank you and hung up and he called back to give me grief. Save your self some aggravation and don't answer. Crooks trying to lay down a con.
