This number tried to scam me into bogus additional billing on my PECO electric bill. His b.s. didn't flush because that business doesn't have a utility account. Told him not to call again.
Calls several times in 5 min period. Simply annoying. Renamed their call "Peco Scam" and would never pick up. Otherwise, indeed, as someone here has mentioned, a good method to piss them off is reading Bible and trying to convert, like:
Ok, I am going to talk to you and sign whatever you want me to sign, but first let me ask you - are you atheist or a believer?
If they say - atheist, then: you have to listen to these words and let Jesus into your heart... And then you start. And never end reading. If someone would tell that they're already christians - then do otherwise - try to convert them to atheism and cite Dawkins. Works too.
I do not have peck in my area and this rip off company with no caller Id info gets no answer from me companies like this make me feel like going to their boiler room operation and stopping off their phone service and cooperation !!!!!
Continues to call demanding to talk to the business owner about a Peco Account and routinely asking for the previous owner that hasn't been here for four years. When we tell them we aren't interested and to take us off their list she has continued to call back insisting on talking to someone even when we assure them that if they don't know that that person hasn't been here for YEARS - it's obviously not about anything that's current and, if they can't get that right, we don't want to deal with them in the first place.
Got this call a few minutes ago. Asked for me by first name and said it was about my PECO account. I push back hard on these [***] and got the female boiler-room worker (I could hear many other voices in background) to curse at me and hang up, lol.
Sometimes I read the Bible to them and that makes them flee like Dracula from daylight.
