I received a call from this number and they informed me that I would be served at work or home from the Pennsylvania
Pre-trial division saying they have filed 2 allegations against me but didn't say from whom or what for. When the call came in the caller ID said Gaborone (outer) which is in Africa but it had a 267-317-9943, they left the voice message say she was Raven, sound recorded gave me a file number saying "A as in apple 26*****, and the number she left was 267-394-7981.
I'm assuming this too is a scam!!!!!

Just got a call again today from these guys. Haven't listened to it yet, but it will be involving some claim that we just have to get back in touch with them about. Judgment has apparently been imminent for about two months now (yes, that's how long they've been trying - a bit like a dumped lover who can't accept it's over). You know, the kind where some check hasn't cleared and they must have money now (even though your own bank would inform you of said bounced check, and they haven't because there isn't one)... There's about three different versions of the story and they just recycle from one to the next and back again. Oh, and at least one message mentions being "served" though the phone call. That's not legally binding. We've called the police and are just waiting for them to come to the house so the cops will arrest them for fraud and intimidation. Most messages are computerized voice recordings, but one some poor guy with very poor English tried to leave an intimidating message. It took him three tries (calling back three times) to actually get through the script he was trying to read. Not very intimidating. And they use a series of phone number registered across the country to avoid detection. Numbers include: 267-313-3455 (Pennsylvania); 415-993-1130 (California); 203-571-4345 (Connecticut); 202-810-1181 (District of Columbia); 352-247-2997 (Florida); 208-417-1317 (Idaho); 309-270-3384 (Illinois). Of course they could just be spoofing all these number and really be calling from west Africa.
I just received a call from this number. Recording threatened to see me in court, come to my home.....blah..blah..blah. So when I did speak to someone she asked me to verify I still lived at an address in PA. I advised her I haven;t lived in PA for 15 years! She then asked me repeatedly to very the last 4 of my ssn, I refused. She put her supervicoar on the phone she asked me the same questions. Long story shorrt she said I'll u in court and I state "OKAY.....c u then" lol
