Got a call on home phone from "Vincent de Paul." No message left. The next day, out of curiosity, I called the number from my cell phone. It is Green Drop, which collects donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, the Federation for the Blind, and several other legitimate charities. I had donated clothing to Green Drop before and designated it for the SVDP Society, which helps the poor. Guess that's how they had my number. Anyway, it is not a scam.
Got a call this evening on my landline. Someone is scamming my number to these jerks. Must have been a robo call because nomrobo blocked them. Said they were from Vincent De Paul. Don't care where they are from, could be from Mars, stop calling.

caller ID "Vincent de Paul" left no message. If this was a legitimate charity, why don't the speak? I probably donated to them at one time but in this day and age will not pick up most calls as the caller id might not be what it says.
