I actually talked to the person who called me. She said I would be taken off the list but when I pressed further she admitted that I would likely be put on their "other lists." I blocked the number.
Caller claimed to be from a research company and asked if I was a registered voter. Wanted to know if it was a land line or cell line. I declined to answer further.

Got call. They said they were taking a survey. They confirmed my name, asked county, zip, if i had any land line, if i was registered to vote, and if I comment on any political blogs.
