i've gotten 5 phone calls today - its now 12:30pm. 3 from Rachel and Jennifer at Cardholder services, two from these [***] trying to sell me GE security systems and 1 from the chimmney cleaning scam people. Why is it i pay for a landline?
They change the number to throw you off! I have filed a complaint with the NC Attorney Generals office they said it was a SCAM! When you push the number to be removed it lets them know its a working number and you are in the system now! They are stupid a##holes that get paid commission for each sale they make! All they want is you CC info...You have been warned!
this number called me and when I picked up the phone, they hung up. I picked up the phone because I am finding that some of my physicians have similar numbers....whoever did not leave a message. When I called it back, a recorded message said press any number to be removed from this call list. !!!!!!
Continuous calls to my office phone line - almost daily. Selling Home Security Systems. I bet it's a SCAM.
The recorded messages also hits my voicemail.
When I do answer and press 1, the people are so rude - they hang up before I can give them my direct line to put on 'do not call' list.
AND I think because this is a corporate phone line, the number on their caller ID is not the number they dial... (unless they're "do not call" list is a scam... and they just hang up when you press 2).
So they keep calling and calling and calling... GRRR! It's extremely annoying!
