This phone number is CONSUMERS ENERGY in Michigan likely looking for electric payments. When called this 269-969-8500 recording refers the caller to 800-477-5050 Consumers main number. I wonder why Consumers Energy does not leave a message ??
269-969-8500 Is a huge scam (2/26/15). It is featured on local news today and attempts to get money from Consumers Energy customers. DO NOT give in to it. It can be reported. It is completely bogus. If not answered, no message is left.
This is Consumers Energy's phone number it is not a scam. It is from their Michigan based office, I just got off the phone with them on a call back they placed to me regarding an issue I had
