Someone called from the number 270-351-7012 with one of those warranty extension scams. I knew it was a scam right away since she called my work number and I just started working here so never changed my work number on my car loan etc.

I receive this call at work quite a bit. Automated recording stating that it is in reference to my credit card account.

Missed a call from this number. Called it back (immediately) and it was "disconnected" ?!!!! Googled it and got same information as above Arthur Jones from Kentucky.
auto-warranty scam.. They called my unlisted cell phone.
I pressed 1 to wait for an available rep. (not interested, but I wanted to [***] to someone); finally got to a person. She asked me for my car year/model/etc. etc.. I told her: "I'm not really interested, but.." She cut me off & said: "WELL, HANG UP THEN". and then she hung up on me. Nice. I tried calling the number on my caller ID (Kentucky number) & it is disconnected.
I called the number back and also got the 'disconnected' message.
THEY DID CALL JUST 10 MINUTES AFTER I HAD ENTERED MY PHONE NUMBER
(UNLISTED) ONTO A CAR INSURANCE QUOTE WEBSITE.

they are using one of those call spoofing services that can show
any name and any number on caller ID because they call you
thru a routing system that applies any name/number to caller ID.
