I have been posting comments regarding numbers like this on 800notes for some time and would like to offer a solution to those that have the capability and are interested in escalating this widespread problem. I use a VoIP system that allows me to setup groups to receive calls. I have added my State's Secretary of State office number as an extension into my phone system and I now add these numbers to automatically be forwarded to them and to display the number that called (so my number doesn't show up as the Caller ID). Perhaps some action will actually be taken when our elected representatives have to start dealing with the calls and harassment they are supposed to protect us from. Yet another "Google Specialist" wanting to charge me lots of money in order to update my Google Places For Business. Which I don't want them touching. Tried to play with the caller, but they disconnected after I pressed 1. Hopefully, they at least got charged for the bad lead. These people are not Google, do not use them.
