This number called and it was a man requesting someone I didn't know. When I told him he had the wrong number, he said I could help. He explained that he was collecting money for police who had died during duty. Once off of the phone, I did a Google search. No police departments are soliciting monetary donations over the phone.
Received 10262016 at 3:25 call, male on the line asked to speak to my husband, (used husbands first name). I asked who was calling and they hung up. Having personal issues so was concerned about this unknown, weird call.
After answering and asking who's calling they went in to say they were collecting money for slain police officers family. I asked again for them to identify themselves, they hung up.
