I have been trying to get these ___holes to stop calling me for a while now. Here is the scoop: The number is managed by Level 3 Communications. The scammers are Buzz Broadband Inc. DBA Pandora Networks. As you may have guessed, it is pretty much impossible to contact the company directly. Here's what you can do: call Level 3 Communications at:
877-253-8353 and pick an option that connects you to a customer service agent. Complain about the calls. Make sure you talk to an operator to make it clear that you are fed up with the harassment that they allow through their network! The operator will transfer you to the fraud department where you will most likely reach the answering machine where you can leave a stern message about the harassing calls. Hopefully, if enough of us complain to Level 3 Communications, they will ban service to Buzz Broadband Inc. DBA Pandora Networks.
Company representing itself as Yellow page internet ads. I called them and they said this company is not Yellow page ads. They wanted $499 for the service.
THEY just called me and said they were on their way back. Sounded drunk as could be or high on something. Very scary call!!!! I ried calling rightback and no answer. Phone off.
Called our office today. As others reported, seems to be some kind of scam to get you to agree to advertise in the Yellow Pages. But the caller asked if I wanted to give a PO number or just have them send and invoice, and then told me that the annual fee would be the same as last year - $400.00. That's how I knew it was a scam... we don't GET invoices for $400/yr. from the Yellow Pages! When I told her that, she immediately hung up. Busted!
