These guys called my work and told my supervisor that it was very important that I call because I was listed as an emergency contact. When I called it was one of the scams saying that you are about to be sued or indicted on some charge if you don't pay restitution. I do believe that is illegal on several levels besides being a scam.
They called and told me I have a pay day loan in the amount of 872 and if I don't pay it I will be charged with 2 felony fraud charges. I never got a pay day loan. They say attorneys names are Travis Roth and John Travis. What the heck Travis in both names. Come on. Their phone number is 281-203-0572.
I just got a call at my work today from these people saying I had a payday loan in 2010 and that unless I pay restitution I will have a warrant out for my arrest. They threatened me and told me I must call back in 30 mins. I had the state police call them back and they said they were a legal officer and that my name wasn't on file..I called back and they knew I had police call them...they hung up on me 4 times and then when they finally answered they said my file wasn't available when the police called and they continued to accuse me of not paying some payday loan...they knew my last four of my social and bank account...who are these people? I was so afraid someone hacked into my bank account and got a loan in my name...I'm figuring this is a scam
