Called our business and asked for the owner. Told them the owner is never available and hung up. We do not pass "owner" calls along as they are always cold sales calls, usually worthless companies. After hanging up on him, he proceeded to continue calling and we continued to hang up until he stopped. Caller ID said "Register Tapes". Probably one of those outfits that ships a case of paper rolls and then charges $500 for it......No Thanks.
Phil called "on behalf of your local Safeway" trying pitch a promotional thing for "only a very select few local businesses" to showcase our products on the back of receipts. We aren't even in the same country as this caller, we don't produce any products ourselves, and the products we distribute are already listed at Safeway. His "local rep" apparently fed him some bad information about our business.
