Got a call from this number on 12/29/11 at 1:19 p.m. The recording said it was "Cardholder Services" and that they could lower my credit card interest rate to 6.9 percent. I pressed 1 to talk to a representative. When a representative got on the phone I asked if this was card services for an existing card of mine.The rep said, "this is card services for VISA and Mastercard." I further clarified that I was not speaking to card services from my existing card, despite the rep talking over me as I asked questions. I said to the rep, "the recording at the beginning if the call made it sound as if it was one of my current card companies calling. The rep hung up. I called the number and got a message saying that Mike Anderson's mailbox is full.
