Caller identified himself as a Mr. Thomas. He insisted on speaking to someone I do not know, and certainly is not at this number. He did not believe me and insisted I have the person call him. Since then, my phone has rung every 10 to 15 minutes with no one being there.
Caller identified himself as a Mr. Thompson. He insisted on speaking to my now ex-wife. He told me I would be in trouble for not placing her on the phone, which I could not do since she no longer lives here. He did not believe me.
Mr. Thompson called me in reference to a student loan that I make on time payments for and demanded payment in full for the remaining balance, refused to tell me who he was calling on behalf of. I asked him to mail me a bill, he told me to 'quit the stalling tactics' and kept telling me that I would be sued if I kept refusing to pay. He then told me that he could take $2,000.
I tried calling back twice, but got a voicemail. I'm on hold with my bank right now, to verify this. But I would not trust this guy or whoever he works for as far as I can throw him. He's not getting my money. That's for certain. He also refused to tell me his first name, which I find extremely odd.
