COMPLAINT:
Mike Arnold called our company offering "the opportunity" to test their medical gloves. He stated that this was a test of a pair or two and a price list. NOT a purchase of a cases of $229 gloves. He is extreamly pushing then ships 2 boxes of gloves that usually cost under $30 a box, but when you receive this "product test" there is a packing slip and bill for $229.00 per box plus freight and handling. We sent them right back to them and the box returned to us yet again with the "return to sender - no returns accepted" written in black marker. ***** then calls numerous times a day demanding payment. He is very rude and aggressive. I now have an invoice for $562.65 and gloves that they have refused to accept back. He offers to send *** out to pick up a check yet will not take back the product that we do not want or ask for. This product test turned into a real high priced scam and now we can not get him to take back this product or get him to stop calling repeatly. He refuses to work with anyone and gets very loud and rude when spoken to.

Desired Settlement: We would like him to take back the product and stop harrassing us. This is not what was he said. He said it would be a small product test not a blown up sale.

COMPLAINT: I was called by this company and was told that I was gonna receive complimentary gloves, I received the gloves and after an invoice of $491.50 for something I never agreed on, I called back and asked what address I can send them back to, they told me to send it to ***** ****** ***** **** *******, TX 77036. I'm not in charge of payments, I'm only in charge of supplies, I don't want my boss to fire me for this.

Desired Settlement: I want them to pay for their crime, I don't want anything back, I just want justice.

COMPLAINT: Received call from this company at the beginning of the year offering to send a free sample of gloves and chocolates. Gloves arrived along with hard candies :) After arrival we started receiving numerous rude calls a day about sending them payment for the gloves. Decided to go ahead and pay them thinking it was just a misunderstanding about being "free samples" Few weeks later 4 more cases of gloves arrive. No ONE ordered these. Each time their number is called it goes to a recording. Have not heard back from them as stated in their recorded message. Will continue to contact them, especially after we receive their bill.

COMPLAINT: A member of our Purchasing department answered a call from Rivera Medical stating that they had an exam glove order for us that had been on backorder and did we want them to ship them. We received eight boxes of exam gloves and an invoice for $458.00 plus $33.50 freight for a total of $491.50. Initial contact about this was handled unprofessionaly by a representative of Rivera Medical about the fact that we placed the order and need to pay the invoice. Besides the fact that we do not order anything without a purchase order, and never do phone orders, it would appear from what is shown online that this is a scam that they do nationwide. The other thing is the ridiculous amount of money they charge for the product. We pay around $10.00 a box for the exam gloves we use, and they invoiced us 458.00 for eight boxes (57.25 each). Finally spoke to a represenative at Rivera Medical today and told him we would be shipping the product back and will not pay the invoice.

Desired Settlement: Just want to make people aware that this is going on.

COMPLAINT: Additional Notes
Complaint: This company called our facility and pretended to be our routine medical supply company, asking if we still wanted out standing order of ***** **** ******. Our ***** member was not aware that this was not our ***** rep with our authorized company and said to send out standing order* ***** **** ****** were sent at an exorbitant price and are not an approved brand nor from an approved supplier for our business.

Desired Settlement: For company to never call our business again and to stop fraudulent sales practices.

COMPLAINT:  This company called and pretended to be another company and sent us medical gloves and then tried to bill us for them. They lied, they fished for information and they are criminals.

Desired Settlement: I want a return shipping label to return the products and I want to be added to there DO NOT CALL list.

COMPLAINT: This company contacted me by phone stating that I could keep the cost of gloves down to ***** per box for the next **** if I would order * cases of ******. When I recieved their invoice on ******* dated ******* the charge was ****** per case of * boxes. I can obtain the same gloves from another ****** for ****** for a case of ** boxes. It states on the companies invoice that Items must be returned within ** days of invoice. They obviously either back dated their invoice or held it for ** days before mailing it so that I would not meet the requirements for return. I have attempted several times to contact them by phone to no avail. You only get n answering machine and are asked to leave a voice mail message.

Desired Settlement: I would like call tags issued for the merchandise so that I can return them to the company and have have this matter resolved.

COMPLAINT: This company called and spoke to an employee here about some medical gloves. That employee gave the caller the name of the person that orders those supplies and put that person on hold. When the employee that orders the supplies got to the phone, the caller was no longer on the line. The phone call was ********. We received an invoice for 2 cases of vinyl gloves for $600.00 each plus shipping  each - far too much for vinyl gloves. I knew this was a SCAM when I saw the invoice. We watched for the gloves to be delivered and refused the delivery. They should not have ever been shipped or invoice - no one ever approved the order.

Desired Settlement: Find out who this is - can not verify the business or the address.

Complaint: Rivera medical called to say that they were sending several cases of gloves and a box of Spees chocolate. She continued by saying that the cost of gloves that we order from them is increasing but they would send the cases at the current price to save us money before the cost increase. I explained that we were not getting our gloves from Rivera, she continued by saying that we do infact get our gloves from them and it shows that we usually order medium size gloves and how many cases would. I told her that I order from Medline. She hung up.
