Got a call from this number 281-247-0089 this morning (4/25/14) at 9:52am on my cell phone. My phones caller ID says that they are in TX, USA. Well, since I don't know anyone in TX, I'm reasonably sure this is a debt collector. I would also say that they are the debt collector for AT&T. Nice try but I don't negotiate with, and I definitely will never pay a debt collector. All debt collectors are nothing more than garbage, scum, and filth. If the debt collector company itself was a person, I would spit at its feet.
Anyway, it would be great if someone could look into this number and confirm either yes or no that this is indeed a debt collector. Thanks.
It's a lending company called Lending Tree. We were receiving calls from them for day because we went to the website lendingtree.com to inquire about an auto loan.
Got a call from this number nobody says anything when u say hello when i tried calling it back just b/c I was bored someone picks up but doesn't say anything. I believe its a scam
