I just received a call from this number at approximately 10:30 AM. The person identified themselves as a fraud investigations agent for the state (Which State I do not know). They would not identify who they were representing. They alleged that I committed check fraud, uttered a bad check, and committed bank fraud (Three [3] felonies). They stated that my license will be suspended at 12:01 AM tonight and a warrant will be issued for my arrest in four (4) hours. This call being made right before the Holidays. I will be contacting the FTC , FCC, and my state attorneys office. Where do these companies get their authority to do this to people? The alleged debt is eight years old and was settled by a payday loan help counselor. I am broke and looking forward to a bleak Christmas.
