I have no clue who these people are but they keep calling my home phone...3 or 4 times a day. They never leave a message. The caller ID says Crosby, TX.

Like the rest, we get calls with no answer and no message, and then when called back, says it's a disconnected number.
I answered it and it was from a call center of some directory (so they say) wanting to verify my business' listing information. I didn't hang on long enough to find what they were selling, just verified the old address and information that they had listed.
They say they are verifying your free business listing but what they are doing is trying to record you agreeing to their advertising services. I get floods of these kinds of calls every so often. Just hang up on them. If they are anything like the solicitors who claim to be from the Yellow Pages - and I'm sure they are - they will keep calling you back relentlessly.
