A classic -- Rachel from Cardholder Services (again) offering to lower my credit card interest. It's even the same recording that I've been hearing for at least ten years. I played along and asked what card we were talking about, and a man with a heavy Indian accent said, "Your Visa and MasterCard."  I asked,"Which one?  They're not the same company, are they?"
He said, "Oh, yes, we process both of them. If you look on your statements, you will see 'Cardholder Services' and..."
I cut him off and said, "I can't believe ANYONE still falls for Rachel from Cardholder Services. It's all over the Internet."
He played innocent and asked "What do you mean?" so I said, "It's a very well known scam, and I think you should get a real job instead of a criminal one. Goodbye."
It doesn't matter anymore if doing that flagged me to get more scam calls, because I already get far more bogus calls than legitimate ones. I just wanted the chance to insult one of the crooks.
