just got a call from this number but they asked for someone who is not me. i don't really want to call them back and tell them that if this is a scam but i'm going to need them to stop calling me....like yesterday!
I made the mistake of answering the phone, the name came up as an auto dealer, but when I looked up the number is comes up as a cell number from Houston, TX. I told her I knew it was a scam, asked her to stop calling me at work and hung up on her, of course she called right back and got an attitude in the voicemail.
Lady said her name is Investigator Coleman of the Law Group of Woods of Peterson, which of course doesn't exist. Peterson Law Groups has a bunch of locations for real estate and divorce and the Woods Law Groups is based in Chicago, go figure. She said from the affadavit she has in front of her I am the only one who has perpatrated a scam, give me a break. I've been dealing with these scammers off and on for a long time, since I made the mistake of taking out a pdl...I really wish they would go away.
Ok this is the only issue I have. I hate bill collectors, attroneys and even law enforcement for that matter that is why I go out of my way to stay on the straight and narrow. My issue is this Farfalla1973 admitted taking out a pdl loan. Did you repay it as agreed? NO? That makes you the crook dummy. If a company lends you money under the agreed upon assumption that you will be paying it back within a certain amount of time and instead you ran with the money that makes you a THIEF. Now who is the scammer?
