When I asked how my number got on the list, he repeated that he has "a list of numbers for people who may be interested in addiction relief." I asked who provides them with these lists; he ignored the question. I said, "excuse me, but I have a right to know who is legally allowed to give someone's number to a group like yours." His reply? When you call the number back, there is an automated response that the call is being recorded, then pre-recorded segments to how you respond (it could be either gender running "Steve", even trunked over VOIP for lower working costs). The eventual human denied knowledge of the automated referral, saying that they operated "across the United States", but still providing no answers to my questions, and wanted to end the call.

Received a pre - recorded call from this number. Recorded message from Steve asking if I could hear him. I added it to my reject list. I am on a Do Not Call registry, for what good that does me. Sick and tired of these kind of calls.
