Got a call from them twice this week. I used to work in USCG telecommunications/intel/security mgt (training by GSA, NSA, USN, and USCG) 20+ years ago. I have been retired a couple years longer I served. I didn't bite, and they can bite my a$$ all they want. I didn't answer the call and don't plan on returning the call because it would validate that I ever received it. Folks, don't ever answer a call that you don't already have programmed into your "smart phone". You can't trust that the Do Not Call List; it is a freaking joke. Just go on your phone providers (at&t, $print, Verizon, etc.,) and block them. Don't count on our government to protect us from anything that involves, you guessed it, $$$. Do your part and think "We're not gonna take it" (Pete Townshend, The Who) , and block their butt$. Using what might be a legit business is not very nice, but I wouldn't put anything past these guys to charge your phone for answering or calling them back as part of a scheme that dates way back that when you accept or call back that number, you will be charged an exorbitant amount of money. In my mind that is anything over my allotted free calls within the USA or Canada each month. Phone tricks like this is not a new thing but it is just you that is getting hosed instead of your provider. I will probably end up on the Do Not Fly List because of this, but I am not flying anywhere because of the recent health hazards. Peace, Papa Kilo
Received a call from this number - didn't answer and the caller did not leave a message - that always raises a red flag for me indicating they had no business contacting me as my number is listed on the DNC list.
