got a call today to my home, cell, and work from a lady that didn't give me a company name instead transferred me to a man named David Lavine. He stated I was going to be charged with 2 counts of felony charges for check fraud and if I didn't pay over $1000 by 4 PM that a warrant would be out for my arrest and that they would come to my job to arrest me right away. They stated they would only take payment via money gram and would not give me an account number until I was at a store and ready to pay. When I asked for additional information to be emailed to me or mailed to me he stated he would only do it after I pay and that if I didn't contact him by 4 I will spend 120 days in jail with no bail in addition to paying money then quickly hung up. I went to my local police dept. and made a complaint and an officer called them. They then stated they were a criminal research company and were the middle guys to check n' go. The phone number comes from TX and I would have to be extradited there fir charges.... weird because I live in CA. who knows. Still unsure I called the FTC and they informed that that it sounded like a total scam and if they call back to not answer or hang up if I do. She stated that even if I do owe them money they could not have me arrested.

THIS IS A FRAUDULENT COMPANY OUT OF TEXAS.THEY CALL SEVERAL TIMES, MAKING NUMEROUS THREATS. THEY TRY TO SCARE YOU WITH THEIR SCARE TACTICS. THEY CLAIM TO BE SOME COMPLIANCE COMPANY.

Micheal Goldstean is the name some man that left a voice mail on my phone. He claims he's calling in regards to a MLS loan company. This is a joke! He had a NASTY attitude and isn't willing to inform you of what he is calling about. He tries to scare you with making threats.
I got a call from them yesterday and then I called my state and local law enforcement to advise them. These people are scammers who just want to extort money from people. All lies they tell you! You can not be arrested for not paying a debt. It's a crock of crap!
These people are rude a$$holes (Jason Smith and Lisa Banks... made up names!)! They have called my job, my father and my cell multiple times. They use scare tactics to scam people. What they are doing is illegal! I asked for their address and they wouldn't give it to me. I will find it an sue their butts!
