I received a call from this number, though I didn't answer it because I don't know anyone based out of Texas. As far as being prosecuted for not repaying a payday loan, that is just a scare tactic. They can't really arrest you for that. Even in the check cashing stores that offer payday advances it says that you can't be prosecuted in connection with a payday loan, or at least the ones here in California do. Just a bunch of loan sharks trying to get their money any way they can...
I got a call from Walter Bauman, stating i need to pay in full or he was going to file a litagation against me. Of course i got scared, but after researching, i see itwas a scare tactic.
I got a call from these people several times. Once saying they were the FBI, and the others times saying they were legal of some sort. Very thick accents. I called and the man I spoke to yelled at me and said the police would be at my door in an hour if I didn't pay a payday loan back. I finally got him to tell me a date this payday loan supposedly was deposited into my account and looked it up on my bank statement to see if there was something to it. Nothing at all. They keep calling and I keep ignoring. Now they call from an unknown number and leave voice mails constantly. What would you suggest doing?
i received a call from these people. the message said i had until today to call them back. I called my local police and they said they can not do anything about them other then make a police report.
