Says porter, Texas. Call and call so finally answered to tell them not to call our number. That just speeded up more calls. Tired of it. Reported to do not call list
Caller ID said Alarm Co, did not answer and the call disconnected after 4 rings like all the scam calls. Added to call blocker. The fools just won't give up!
Didn't recognize number, and let go to answering machine. Heard a voice call hello a couple of times. Voice quality was terrible, like it was a low-bandwidth VoIP. Couldn't understand the rest of what was said. Caller ID+ said ALARM CO.
when a call comes in from a number we do not know...we "ZAP" 'em ... which means connect and then hang up immediately! do not say anything! any sort of voice or sound registers and will keep you in these lowlifes clutches forever. we have had good luck with this procedure. very few repeat calls and the only time we have repeat calls is when we are not home and the answer machine picks up . but of course the next week it starts all over again with a new scammer. sigh...
