Well, it's a new year and these idiot scammers are still at it. I hope no one falls for their BS line. I certainly didn't last year and, most certainly, won't this year either!

Actually, they are declined on my cell and it goes directly to voicemail. This time the message was that I had just had a "complaint" filed against me and that I was to call 844 442-8122 immediately, which, of course, I didn't do. These idiots are criminal scammers. They will not and CAN NOT do anything to you except try to scare you into believing their cr*p. Just block them and go on with you lives.
I appreciate people who post actual information about who is calling and what their excuse might be!!!! I appreciate 800Notes for giving us a place to look for, and (when we have something useful) to leave, information about dicey callers. I don't know what fluke worked on my behalf today, because I answered and a woman came on and said hello and I said hello again and she hung up!! It just happens that I could, conceivably, have an actual document of some sort pertaining to either of two entirely different and unrelated court things, which someone might legitimately be trying to deliver.
It's highly unlikely, to begin with. As has already been mentioned, such folks rarely call ahead (Though, a couple of decades ago, I did have to talk to one of them on the phone to arrange a mutually suitable time for them to deliver documents, due to my oddball work schedule.), but I know it's possible. So, if this is some kind of scam, I might have actually been gullible enough to go along with it, up to a certain point. Of course, if they couldn't give a specific court or case number or other details about the nature of whatever they have, it would be a dead giveaway that they were lying.
So, on the one hand, it's entirely possible someone is actually trying to leave some kind of document with me, but on the other hand it's highly unlikely. Therefore, I must apologize for not having any kind of definitive information to help someone else with, at this time.
