I have registered with the do not call list. It does nothing to stop these people Cardmember Services from calling. If you complain they hang up. I am thinking of getting a whistle and breaking someone's ear drums.
The Do Not Call List tells legitimate, law-abiding telemarketers you don't want to be called. Criminals like the Card Services scammers pay no more attention to the Do Not Call List than burglars do to Breaking and Entry laws.
Think about it: They're trying to steal money from you. What's one more law being broken as far as they're concerned?
And of course you can buy a call blocking device or phone to help also. However, just being on the list doesn't help, these numbers need to be reported..
This number is a legitimate business, Same Day Water Heaters, I purchased a new heater these were the installers, in Oklahoma City. They don't do telemarketing that I am aware of. Number valid as of 04/01/2016.
