I called them back: supposedly they are an "energy efficiency" company. I told them I was on a do not call list, asked them to verify my number and remove me from their list. I documented the worker's (Kenya) name, time of call for notification they had been told not to call the number back..... We shall see, but bottom line, it's spam.
The contractor pushing this will get reimbursed by the electric company if the can reduce the end-user's power consumption.
They call from many multiple numbers and are disguising who they really are. They can ignore the DNC list because they can claim they are "non-profit". Caveat Emptor

Does anyone else receive a call from this number, but preceded by "11"? i.e. "11 281 667 9795"
The ID shows NAME NOT FOUND.
I put in a block for the number without the prefix "11". Hope it works.
The bssssssrrrrds have call 3 times in 4 hours.
This number called me ALL afternoon. I never answered because I had already read the previous posts. I guess the DO NOT CALL list just doesn't matter to some people. I seem to be getting more calls since I got on it!
