I have recieved several calls from this number as well and always get a stupid recording that puts me on hold. I just hung up on the first few occasions as I am not a very patient person. On a particualr call I did actually talk to what appeared to be a human although he didn't seem quite as intelligent as most. The man ask if I was so-n-so to which I replied yes and then he said I needed to verify by DOB in order for him to give me any information in regards to why he was calling me. I in turn asked him for his DOB to which he chuckeled a bit and said he couldn't give me that information. My response was "well if you can't give me yours I'm certainly not giving you mine" and to please stop calling me with this nonesince.
I have recieved a call from this number every day for approximately 14 days now. Really starting to tick me off but don't what I can do other than simply ignore it.
This is a collection agency. They call me looking for someone I don't know and that doesn't live with me and told them to remove my number from their list but they are still calling. I just filed a complaint with the FCC. If you are getting calls I would file too because they will not stop calling.
After missing 2 calls from this number (no voicemails) i decided to call back. When answered I asked who the company was and all the lady would reply was that they "are a business company" and wanted my information. I asked again what type of business they were and got the same answer followed with "but if you give me your name and number i would be happy to assist you.." Assist me with what??? They wont even say who they are!!?! Didnt give my name or number, just told them to remove me from their list..assuming they have caller id like the rest of the world.
