Very high pressure sales call about buying an extended warranty for one of my vehicles. Transferred to 3 different "Supervisors" when I wasn't going for their nonsense.... but they DID have my home address and the year of my vehicle. Only a recording about being added to the do not call list when I call the number back. Not even a company name.

These con artists buy lists from the State Department of Motor Vehicles. They list all registered vehicles, owner name & address. Car insurance companies also sell these lists. I have received these calls on a vehicle I sold 5 years ago, a vehicle that was totalled over a year ago, and on my 2002 vehicle ( yeah - the warranty is "about to expire"). Explain to them that their phone number will be forwarded to the State Consumer Fraud division for investigation. Personally, I sometimes keep them on the phone for 30 minutes stringing them along & giving them an idea of what being scammed feels like. Probably doesn't matter to them.....but I sure feel better.
I also got a call this morning on my cell but using a different number. I don't want or need there dang warranty and they don't have a salesman good enough to sale me something that I don't want. I would rather stay under a bridge than to have such a weasel job.
