Same thing happened to a friend of mine.  Wedding dress on Craigslist selling for $150.00.  He sent a check for $2,700 and said to cash immediatly and send him the rest of the money.  My friends that this happend to are young and didn't know any better, deposited the check.  I told them to go to the bank first thing in the morning and STOP payment!!!!!!!!!! This guy needs to reported and STOPPED.

I too am getting emails from [email protected] for a wedding dress that I am trying to sell. Someone else tried to scam me once before so luckily I am more aware.  The email states:

Thanks for the reply , i just moved into a new apartment with my sister and i am really interested in buying the Wedding Dress for my sister because her Wedding Dress is coming up soon , but the only means i can pay you now is via a certified bank check or money orders, so i would need your name and address and phone numberso i can send the payment over to you as soon as possible ......i am sorry for the stress ...........i lived in california , i just got a job in utah as a security agent and am just getting the new house fixed .........thanks <3

I refused to accept money from him/her by cashier's check or money order.  BEWARE!!

Hello  That same person tried to scam me on my wedding dress!! He can't write for crap and is saying his trying to buy a wedding dress for his sister and he needs my full name address and correct phone number to send his payment!! I Said no way hahahah sold him it was a scam and he never responded

I just got the same email for my my wedding dress.  I was a little suspicious so thanks for your post

I got the exact same message and ignored it! Now he e-mailed me again!
